The Trudeau government has now given its first official speech from the throne outlining the preferences of the federal Liberals.
Governor General David Johnston conveyed the plan through explaining the details of cutting the tax rate for those who are at the middle-income level and also how they will be providing a more reasonable child benefit to the parents who are in need of it.
The Governor General also stated that there is also an objective to invest in infrastructure in order to boost the economy.
Johnston also indicated the other priorities of the Trudeau Liberals, which are empowering back bench members in parliament, reforming the electoral system, legalizing marijuana, cutting the price of carbon tax in conjunction with the provinces and launching an inquiry into the cases of murdered and missing aboriginal women.
