The National Board of Review, made up of New York film historians, students and academics who know their movies, have declared Mad Max: Fury Road to be the film of the year for 2015.

The group’s president, Annie Schulhof, said that “2015 has been a banner year for popular cinema. We are thrilled to be awarding [Mad Max director] George Miller and Ridley Scott, two iconic film-makers at the top of their game, while also celebrating the next generation of talent.”
Do you agree? Did you see Mad Max and leave the theatre pumping your fists into the air with glee, or shaking your head in disappointment.
