The trial for alleged drunk driver Marco Muzzo is being re-scheduled for Dec. 10th following a brief court appearance on Thursday.
Muzzo is facing 18 charges, including impaired driving causing death, in a fatal collision in Vaughan.
Nine-year-old Daniel, five-year-old Harrison, and two-year-old Milly Neville-Lake were killed along with 65-year-old Gary Neville, after the van they were in was T-boned by an SUV in on Sept. 27.
The mother of the children, Jennifer Neville-Lake, spoke outside the courtroom Thursday. She says she can’t bear to have a Christmas tree at home, and their family will instead set up a tree at the cemetery and pick out ornaments to represent each of her children.
Muzzo appeared in court via video stream. He has yet to plead to the charges, and will remain in custody, in solitary confinement for his own protection.
