According to Forbes Magazine, the Toronto Maple Leafs are no longer the most valuable franchise in the National Hockey League.
There are now two other teams, who are part of the original six, that have ousted Toronto from the top spot.
Both the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens are now listed first and second respectively, as the league’s most valuable franchises.
This season the Rangers managed to increase their value to $1.2 billion and the Montreal Canadiens are now worth $1.18 billion.
The Maple Leafs are now estimated at $1.15 billion, which is up from $1.3 billion in 2014.
