Toronto Fire is laying charges against a Toronto homeowner after a 3 alarm fire near College and Lansdowne on Wednesday morning.
The building turned out to be a rooming house that broke several Fire Code violations.

Three people were taken to hospital with injuries.
The penalties for fire code violations can reach fines of $50,000 and or a year in jail for individuals or corporations can face fines of up to $100,000.
