PM Justin Trudeau continues to meet with leaders in Manilla as part of the APEC summit in Manilla.
Trudeau completed his first official meeting with Barack Obama on Thursday. The two talking about several issues with the fight against ISIS at the top of the list.
The PM plans to pull CF-18 fighter jets out of bombing campaigns in Syria and Iraq in the new year but reiterated that Canada will remain a strong part of the effort to defeat ISIL. Canada is expected to increase the number of special forces on the ground to train local fighters.
Turdeau and his wife Sophie are expected to visit the Obama`s in Washington early next year.
The Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation summit is a forum for 21 Pacific Rim economies promoting free trade in the region.
