It reportedly cost almost 80 thousand dollars for fans to watch Blue Jays playoff games outside of city hall. The City of Toronto finally announced on Tuesday that the total cost to screen the Blue Jays’ 2015 playoff games in Nathan Phillips Square. Official’s estimated 10,000-15,000 people turned out to watch the intense games. Mayor John Tory told the Sun last month that he believed the public would say “overwhelmingly yes” to spending taxpayer dollars.
