Officers in France say they’ve identified the supposed mastermind behind the recent attacks in Paris.
Belgian Abdelhamid Abaaoud is believed to be linked also to a thwarted attack on a Paris-bound speed train, and a church in Paris.
Police have taken seven people into custody in connection to the attacks, with one suspect still at large, though Reuters says that he has been captured.
Overnight, over 150 raids were conducted at various locations across France.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls reaffirmed President Francois Hollande’s declaration that “we are at war” after launching “massive air strikes” over Syria.
He also warned more attacks could be coming in the days ahead.
