York Regional Police have charged a 17-year-old youth from Vaughan after a single-vehicle crash killed 2 teens and sent 4 to hospital.
Police were called to the area of Teston Road and Pine Valley Drive on October 24 for reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Police say the vehicle had 6 people in the vehicle and it had crashed off the road.
A 15 year old girl died from her injuries at the scene while a 16 year old was taken to hospital but would succumb to his injuries.
Four other males, were taken to hospital suffering from injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening.
One of the passengers remains in hospital, but will survive his injuries.
The 17 year old driver of the vehicle is now charged with 2 counts of dangerous driving causing death and 3 counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
He was set to appear in court today for a bail hearing.
