It’s happened every year for the last several years, and it appears 2015 is no different.
Another poppy donation box, which is meant to help serving and retired Veterans, has been taken.
On Saturday November 7, around 6:20 p.m., two men walked into a Tim Hortons location at 1094 Bloor Street West.
It’s alleged one of the men picked up the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy donation box, and then they both left the store.
Both men are described as white, 18-25, about 5’10” with a thin build, and brown hair. One man was wearing white shoes, blue jeans, a black hoodie with large white lettering, and a brown bucket hat. The other man was wearing black shoes, white pants, and a black sweater.
Police say both men have been identified and one of them is a youth and can’t be named. Warrants for their arrest will be executed on Thursday.
