Peel police are appealing for the public’s help in tracking down a man wanted in connection with an attempted abduction in Mississauga.
According to police a 22 year old woman was walking in the Fallingbrook Drive and Windsor Hill Boulevard on Saturday November 7th at around 1:45 a.m.
She was then grabbed by an unknown male, who began pulling and dragging the victim toward a vehicle which was parked at the intersection.
The victim began to scream and was then released by the suspect who got into his vehicle and fled eastbound on Windsor Hill Boulevard.
The suspect has been described as a 22 to 29-year-old man of possible Middle Eastern descent with an olive complexion, standing 5’10” tall with an average build, square-shaped face and dark hair.
He was wearing a dark grey hooded sweatshirt and lighter grey track pants, while the vehicle is described as white, unknown make or model, but appeared to be in good condition.
Investigators have recovered video surveillance in the area that captured the incident and are in the process of making it available for public viewing.
