Toronto Police say an apparent case of road rage has resulted in a man being charged.
Police received a number of 911 calls to the area of Yonge and Castlefield around 11:15 a.m. after reports of a man riding on the hood of a car.
Police say the incident started when a man rear-ended a vehicle with 2 people inside and fled the scene.
The victims chased the car and eventually confronted the driver near Yonge and Briar Hill.
That’s when one of the men jumped on the hood of the car to try and get the driver to stop.
That man was later taken to hospital with minor injuries after he rolled off the hood.
The driver of the vehicle was eventually tracked down by police and has now been charged with assault, dangerous driving and fail to remain.
