This year’s holiday season cups at Starbucks have caused quite the controversy with critics accusing the company of waging a war on Christmas. Starbucks removed symbols of the season used in the past, which have included reindeer and ornaments, in favor of a simple, two-toned red cup. The company has said the cup is to be a “blank canvas” that encourages “customers to tell their Christmas stories in their own way.”
Do you think the company is guilty of waging a war against Christmas? Is this a case of politically correctness or simply a design change?
