Police say westbound lanes of the Gardiner Express Way have reopened following a collision involving at least six vehicles.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the westbound lanes between Kipling and Islington Avenues.
The major crash, where one vehicle ended up on its roof, was apparently caused by a vehicle driving the wrong way against the flow of traffic. Several people had to be excavated from their vehicles, with three people taken to hospital. Only one person was suffering serious injuries, but they are not life threatening.
Investigation is still ongoing, no charges have been laid at this time.
