There’s been another report of Halloween candy being tampered with.
Toronto police say a 3 year girl was about to tuck into some treats when she found a needle in a chocolate bar.
The child, who was not injured, lives in the Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West area.
There have been no other reports of similar incidents in the area.
Also this week, a blade from a pencil sharpener was found in a chocolate bar in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a tack was found in a chocolate bar in the city’s east end, and a finishing nail was inserted into a chocolate bar in Kawartha Lakes. No injuries have been reported.
