The Toronto Blue Jays are coming off an impressive victory in game three of the American League Championship Series after defeating the Kansas City Royals 11-8 on Monday night.
Blue Jay bats were back to normal with homeruns from Josh Donaldson, Troy Tulowitzki and Ryan Goins and they’ll look to continue keeping their bats hot for game four.
The Jays will send R.A. Dickey (1-0 ERA 1.62) to the mound and the Royals will counter with Chris Young (1-0 ERA 1.13). Both pitchers are familiar with each other, as they were teammates with the Texas Rangers in 2003 and 2004.
Dickey made his post-season debut last Monday when he pitched against Texas giving up one run in just under five innings.
Kansas City now leads the ALCS 2-1.
Game four will take place at Rogers Centre and is scheduled to start at 4:07 p.m. today.
