The Toronto Blue Jays have tweaked the beer policy at the Rogers Centre ahead of Game 3 of the ALCS being held tonight. The organization confirmed that beer sold in the 500 level of the stadium will only be served in plastic cups. The change in policy comes after several fans began to toss cans of beer onto the field during the seventh inning of Game 5 of the ALDS. This new policy will remain in effect for the remainder of the post-season.
Why is this change made only for those in the “cheap seats”?
