In Game Five of the ALDS, Toronto Blue Jay Jose Bautista slammed a three-run home run that brought about 50,000 screaming fans inside the Rogers Centre to their feet. The run led to the team’s victory over the Texas Rangers and sent them to the ALCS. Cambridge, Ontario’s Jeff Byma was not only in the Rogers Centre to witness the moment, but he was fortunate enough to have caught the home run ball. Byma says he does not plan on selling the ball or even keeping it for that matter. He hopes to return it to the Blue Jays or Joey Bats, saying that he wants the ball to be with the organization or Jose himself for his own collection.
Is he crazy? Do you applaud him for doing the right thing? Should he sell the ball to a fan who really wants it?
