If your kid hates needles (and really, who loves them?) Ontario is introducing something that will put children at ease when receiving the flu vaccine.
The province is introducing a nasal spray version, as an alternative to the feared arm injection.
The sprays will be offered starting October 26 for children ranging in age from 2 to 17. Four versions of the flu will be covered by the vaccine.
For those kids that delight in being treated like a doctor’s dart board, the needle will still be offered.
