A large home in Brampton has been completely destroyed after a massive fire broke out on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene at at 10230 Goreway Drive, near Castlemore Road at around 7.a.m where they found the house completely engulfed in flames.
It was initially believed that the mansion had been abandoned but it has since been established that the home is occupied, however the owners are thought to be away.
The fire has now been largely contained with fire officials saying that there was no one in the house when the fire broke out and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established and the Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate.
