State Police now say that the gunman in the fatal shooting rampage at a community college in Roseburg, Oregon committed suicide after he shot and killed nine people.
It was originally thought that 26-year-old, Chris Harper Mercer was shot by officers at the scene.
Meantime, authorities have confirmed that the shooter was handing something out while he was firing off shots. He apparently gave one survivor something he wrote and instructed them to give it to the police.
However, there is no confirmation of what it was that was written or if it was in a box or a just on a piece of paper.
There were also 13 firearms that were found that are connected to the Mercer.
