Toronto police have found a two or three-year-old boy wandering aimlessly in Scarborough this morning.
Police responded after a call requesting their presence at Kennedy and Danforth at 6:30am Friday morning.
Cops tweeted that the boy goes by the name “Trey”.
Trey was out and about with only a light shirt, pants, and shoes on.
UPDATE: Trey has been returned to his mother. It turns out that his grandmother left the front door unlocked when she left for work this morning.
This story has shades of the Elijah Marsh tragedy that occurred earlier this year – The Toronto Star report on said incident is HERE.
How does a young child slip unnoticed from a home early in the morning? Should Children’s Aid place this child in protective care until a full investigation of Trey’s guardians is conducted?
