Former CBC host Jian Ghomeshi was back in court on Friday for day two of his pretrial hearing.
Flanked by his lawyer, he entered the courtroom at Old City Hall, once again declining to respond to reporters stationed outside the courthouse.
Ghomeshi pleaded not guilty to 5 charges against him on Thursday including 4 counts of sexual assault and one of chocking arising from 3 alleged victims.
The trial is due to get underway on February 1st, 2016 with a separate trial dealing with one further charge of sexual assault scheduled for June 6th 2016.
The trial will be heard in front of a judge only with no jury.
The 48 year old who was arrested last November has long denied the allegation stating what while he did engage in rough sex, it was always consensual.
