Mayor John Tory has announced that he is to visit London, England in late October.
The business mission which is to take place on October 21st to 23rd will see the mayor look at major public transit and infrastructure initiatives in the city and explore opportunities in the financial services and tech sector.
His visit will include a trip to Canary Wharf, a major business district in the city and Crossrail, a nearly completed surface rail transit line that is the inspiration for SmartTrack.
He will also explore potential business opportunities with those looking to invest in Toronto or expand operations that currently exist in the city.
Tory will meet with London Mayor Boris Johnson during his time there and will deliver a keynote speech at a reception hosted by the Canada UK Chamber of Commerce on October 21st.
