Concerns about possible listeria contamination has prompted the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to issue a recall.
The 227 gram containers of Summer Fresh brand 4 Cheese and Crab dip have a best before date of October 30, and were sold right across the country.
Customers are being told to either toss the tubs out, or return them to where they were purchased.
There have been no reported illnesses.
Listeria contaminated foods may not look or smell spoiled, but once consumed, can cause vomiting, nausea, fever, aches and severe headaches.
