Toronto Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracking down a watch worth $26,000, stolen from a change room locker at a downtown hotel.
According to police, a 46 year old went to the swimming pool area of the Eaton Chelsea Hotel at 33 Gerrard Street West on Friday July 17th at 12.30.p.m.
He changed to go for a swim and placed his belonging including the Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 in the locker.
He then returned approximately an hour later to find that the expensive timepiece had been removed.
Police are now appealing for anyone who knows of someone who has recently and inexplicably come into possession of the same type of watch to come forward.
