The CBC reports HERE about an encounter between a cyclist and motorist that has led to a police investigation.
The exchange started with a motorist turning right into a cyclist at Queen and Spadina in Toronto, and escalated from there when the cyclist allegedly grabbed the driver’s keys and tossed them into a nearby sewer!
The cyclist took off, but was tracked down by police a short time later. He’s been charged with mischief.
Toronto Constable Clint Stibbe has warned both drivers and cyclists to refrain from escalating the situation to this level.
Who is more to blame for encounters like this, cyclists or motorists? Should motorists show more consideration for cyclists? Are too many cyclists ignoring the rule of the road?
