A 17 year old who turned himself to police after a daylight stabbing has been charged with attempted murder.
The teen, who can’t be identified because of his age, is also looking at additional charges including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
A 16 year old boy, a student, was stabbed outside of George S. Henry Academy at 200 Graydon Hall Drive Wednesday morning.
That prompted an hours-long lock down.
The suspect fled the scene in the Don Mills and York Mills area, but surrendered to police a few hours later.
He was due to appear in court Thursday.
