After years of begging from users, Facebook may finally be working on a “dislike” button.. At a live town hall Q&A session, CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the social media giant is very close to unveiling the long awaited “dislike” button. Some users are concerned the button will open the flood gates for cyber bullying but Zuckerberg was quick to note the new feature would encourage users to express empathy rather than “down-vote” a post. Some reports suggest Facebook may instead roll out a feature that allows users to express a range of emotions.
Will the dislike button ruin Facebook and inspire cyber bullying? Or are you excited for the update?
