A second man has been arrested in a human trafficking investigation which was launched last October.
It’s alleged two female teens were forced into the sex trade by a pair of men, who threatened to kill them, and took all of their money.
They victims were able to contact police, who executed search warrants on two apartments.
They recovered loaded firearms, large quantities of crack cocaine and marijuana, as well as both Canadian and American money.
20 year old Solomon Houlder surrendered to police and was charged with over 20 offences.
On Friday, September 4, 29 year old Omar Dewdney, of Toronto, was arrested. He is also facing numerous charges including trafficking of a person under the age of 18, uttering threats, forcible confinement and living on the avails of juvenile prostitution.
Police believe there may be other victims.
