The new school year is off to a violent start.
A stabbing Tuesday afternoon resulted in the lock down of Central Technical School in the Bathurst and Harbord Streets area.
Toronto police say they got the call just after 1:oo p.m. after a 19 year old male victim was found with wounds to his chest.
He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. police say they believe they have found the knife used in the stabbing and they are looking for at least 2 suspects seen running from the secne.
The lock down was lifted after 3:30 p.m. and students were allowed to leave the school.
The laneway where the stabbing took place is still closed for the investigation.
Central Technical School is currently in Lockdown as a result of an incident outside of the school. @TorontoPolice are on scene.
