Sunday was the first day of improved TTC service via a $95-million investment by Toronto City Council.
The transport company promising a series of services improvements which should make travel faster and less crowded.
A number of bus and streetcar routes have been increased. Service on 37 bus routes around the city will see increases as will service increases on eight streetcar and bus routes resulting in customers being able to get on a bus or streetcar in 10 minutes or better.
39 subway, streetcar and bus routes will now have frequent service at all times, in addition to an expanded Blue Night Network with 12 more routes.
More service additions and improvements will be announced in October and November as part of the City Council budget plan.
