The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling a number of Smirnoff Ice alcoholic beverages over safety concerns.
According to the agency, the affected products could have possible glass contamination. The drinks were sold in glass bottles, distributed across Canada.
A full list of the affected products are available here. At this time, there have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of the drinks.
Recalled products should not be consumed, they should be thrown out or returned to the retailer where they were purchased.
The recall was triggered by company Diageo Canada, which is also conducting a food safety investigation, which could lead to the recall of other products.
