The Toronto Blue Jays have been the most talked about baseball team over the past month and now they’re being troubled by the presence of politicians who sit in the seats at Rogers Centre.
It turns out that Liberal leader Justin Trudeau was in attendance Friday night when the Jays were thumped by the Baltimore Orioles 10-2.
That now brings Toronto’s record to 0-3 when a politician is in the stands.
The other two leaders to attend Jays games are the NDP’s Thomas Mulcair and Prime Minister Harper with the Conservatives.
Green Party leader Elizabeth May has yet to attend a game and the Jays are hoping she doesn’t continue the curse.
