Several TTC streetcars have had to be rerouted in the east-end after a garbage truck made contact with overhead wires and struck a pole at Queen and Coxwell.
It happened around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Queen and the incident caused overhead wires to dangle onto the roadway and forced the street closure.
The 301 Queen route is holding both ways on Queen at Coxwell. The 501 Queen, 502 Downtown and the 503 route are all affected and shuttle buses are in place.
