A federal judge in New York has overturned Tom Brady’s four game suspension.
U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell went too far in affirming punishment.
The ruling came as a surprise to a handful of legal experts who believed Berman was merely pressuring the league to settle when he criticized its handling of the investigation.
Brady has insisted he had nothing to do with underinflated balls during last season’s AFC championship game against the Colts.
With this ruling, Brady can now suit up to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10th, New England’s season opener
