After a four cent spike overnight, the price of gas is set to drop yet again.
Dan McTeague, of www.gasbuddy.com tells AM640 News the price at the pumps in the Greater Toronto Area will fall by four cents at midnight, Thursday.
That will mean the average price of regular gasoline across the G-T-A will be around $106.9/litre.
McTeague chalks it all up to more market speculation. “The markets are now in major correction mode and some of the financial speculators who drove prices up on world markets have now decided to exit the market.” McTeague said. “That is leaving supply and demand controlling prices again” he added.
McTeague says motorists can expect to be flirting with prices around the dollar-per-litre mark in the coming days.
