The union representing elementary teachers in the province returns to the bargaining table today to try and reach a deal before the start of the school year.
The ETFO has said it will be stepping up its work to rule job action to start the school year if no deal has been reached.
The job action includes teachers not participating in field trips, not responding to email or texts from principals or vice-principals outside of school hours and not participating in any parent teacher interviews or open houses.
The talks come as public high school teachers (OSSTF) and english catholic teachers (OECTA) reached tentative contract agreements in late August.
