The Canadian kid that wowed the country at the Pan Am games is continuing his skyrocketing career at the World Championships.
20 year old Andre De Grasse from Markham has taken home a bronze medal in the men’s 100m today in Beijing.
Jamaica’s Usain Bolt finished first with 9.79, De Grasse finished with a time of 9.92.
This is the first time a Canadian has broken the 10 second mark in the men’s 100 in over 15 years.
Experts and his coach’s claim De Grasse will just keep getting better and better.
