Peel Police are charging a man following a serious hit and run in Brampton.
Officers say the collision happened around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, when a grey BMW sedan struck a pedestrian crossing Ebenezer Road.
The victim was taken to hospital in serious condition, suffering from internal bleeding. He was later transported to a trauma centre in Toronto.
Officers say the driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
Officers have arrested 22-year-old Muneet Singh Lal in connection with the collision, charged with Fail to Remain Cause Bodily Harm and Criminal Negligence Cause Bodily Harm.
