FBI Pizza has stirred some controversy over their recent job ad, as it states applicants “must have no audible accent.”
According to the co-owner, the requirement was not meant to be discriminatory.
The aim was to avoid confusions over delivery orders, but acccording to the Ontario Human Rights Commission, the ad may be a human rights violation.
Should this pizzeria have changed the wording of their ad? Did FBI Pizza mean that applicants must be able to communicate clearly?
