Conservative party leader Stephen Harper has been receiving a lot of flack over the past few weeks of the 2015 federal election campaign, and one Conservative supporter has had enough.
At a recent campaign stop in Etobicoke, Stephen Harper came under fire from reporters asking him questions about the Mike Duffy trial. A Conservative suporter seemed to take some offense on behalf of the Conservative leader, and voiced his concern to reporters after the press conference. Meeting with the reporters outside of the event, the man, labelled as #AngryCon on social media, shouted profanities at the reporters and even called them “lying pieces of s—!”.
People took to social media to quickly capitalize on the exchange and have quickly turned the man into memes and other comedic parodies. When the man was asked for his name, he told the reporters to “go stuff” themselves, but it has come to the attention that the man has been identified as Earl Cowan. When reached for further comment, Cowan told reporters that he would not submit to an interview unless it was printed in its entirety, without comment.
