Members of Ashley Madison are in fear that their log-ins and their privacy will be leaked through data that has now been obtained by other websites.
The site for cheating spouses does not send verification emails, which means that accounts might not apply to the actual users of the site.
Ashley Madison’s parent company, Avid Life Media, has indicated that it is actively monitoring and investigating the leak. There hundreds of addresses on the list that are associated with agencies like, the RCMP, Canadian Armed Forces, the Canada Revenue Agency and justice and public works.
