Hackers have finally made good on the threat to release sensitive data. The group who calls themselves “The Impact Team” have released nearly 10 gigs of names and personal information of Ashley Madison users data.
The site, which caters to those who wish to cheat on their spouse, was hacked earlier in the month with the hackers warning the owners to shutdown the site or pay.
The file includes login information for some of the 32 million users of the site.
With a major portion of those users from the Ottawa region, where nearly 50% of all couples in the city taking advantage of the service.
