Just as the Special HOV lanes go away, a couple lanes on the Gardiner will suddenly disappear until October.
Deteriorating decks between Bathurst and Strachan are the targets of city crews during their “Strategic Rehabilitation Program” .
Nearby routes will see traffic signal timing changes in the hopes of enhancing flows and improve response time along the Gardiner.
The city asking for help from commuters in the form of carpools, alternate routes, or taking transit.
Traffic will be reduced to two lanes until the work is finished at the end of October 19th.
