CIBC has conducted a poll that shows almost half of the students in post-secondary school are concerned about covering their tuition and living costs.
They’re also worried about not being able to pay off student debt after graduation.
Also, one-third of those students feel they will graduate with at least $25,000 in debt.
There are also 37% who aren’t certain if they can manage their finances upon completing the school year and 19% think they won’t be able to provide for themselves financially.
The poll also indicates that students who spend between $10,000 and $30,000 for the school year are expecting their parents to cover at least 22% of their tuition fee.
