Superstar Wyclef Jean will be returning to Toronto for the 2015 to perform at the Parapan Am Games closing ceremony.
Jean opened the Panamania arts and culture festival last month at Nathan Phillips Square, with performances ongoing throughout the sporting event.
He’ll be joined by Bowmanville up-and-coming country singer Meghan Patrick in headlining the free show, which starts at 8 p.m. Saturday night at Nathan Phillips Square.
The ceremony will also feature the Parade of Nations, an official handover of the Paralympic flag to Lima, Peru – the next host city – and the extinguishing of the Parapan Am flame. Of course, the event will also feature a closing fireworks show.
The final day will see road closures for various events.
Bay Street will be closed from Queen Street West to Dundas Street West from 4 p to midnight.
From 5p to Midnight, Wellington Street will be closed from Church Street to University Avenue as well Front Street will be closed from Church Street to Parliament Street.
James Street and Albert Street will be closed from 4p to midnight.
University Avenue northbound reduced to two lanes from Queen Street to south of Armoury Street until to midnight.
With the games closing, the Temporary HOV lanes will be gone on Tuesday.
