Mayor John Tory is joining a long list of politicians speaking out a against a controversial speaker set to make an appearance in Toronto on Saturday.
The pick up artist known as Roosh V has advocated for the legalization of rape on private property, and claims to help men improve their intimate relationships with women.
Tory say his hate speech has no place in our city while councillor Norm Kelly earlier on Monday asked Toronto venues not to let Roosh V use their space for his event.
The anti-feminist blogger spoke in Montreal this past weekend and had to find another venue for his lecture after protesters discovered the first location.

Urging all venue locations in Toronto to deny @rooshv the opportunity to use their space. He and his views are not welcome in Toronto.
