Amy Savill was vacationing in Ontario and suddenly went into labour, two months before her due date. Amy was rushed to the hospital in Timmins, but that hospital didn’t have the necessary equipment so she was flown to the hospital in Sudbury. In Sudbury Amy had an emergency C-section and baby Amelia was born weighing only three pounds. The transport from Timmins to Sudbury cost $30,000. Savill would like to go back to Alberta, but a medical transport would cost approximately $55,000. A crowd funding effort has been started with a goal of raising $75,000 to pay for the transport cost and the cost of send her back to Alberta. $5000 has already been raised, Amy is shocked that $5000 has already been raised and is extremely grateful. Would you donate to Amy?
