Looks like there may be some retribution for those that braved the extreme weather on Saturday for the VELD Music Festival. Keyword being “some”.
The VELD Music Festival was held on Saturday at Downsview Park, but was cut short due to the inclement weather. High winds, rain, and even hail were the contributing factors that lead the VELD organizers to cancel the event, citing the safety of its patrons. Concert goers were quick to share their dismay on social media, demanding refunds from festival organizers.
On Twitter on Wednesday, VELD Music Festival revealed that they would be handing out partial refunds, at 40%, to all those who purchased tickets on Ticketmaster and authorized points of sale.
Have you ever been at a concert that was cancelled? Did the venue/organizers reimburse you in anyway?
